At just 28, Tzvi Rauch has already built Tier II into a powerhouse in landscape architecture and construction. What began in 2017 with sheer grit and passion has grown into a firm that designs and constructs nearly a million square feet of outdoor spaces. His journey started after being fired from a building management job—necessity led him to odd jobs, but his passion for creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces sparked when he began transforming his own backyard.
From driving Uber to building planter boxes, Tzvi did whatever it took to grow Tier II, eventually expanding from solo work to leading a team of 40 talented individuals. His hands-on experience, from planting trees to building custom designs, shaped his approach to crafting stunning, functional outdoor environments. As the head of design and client relations, Tzvi ensures every project is rooted in functionality, speed, and innovation.
Tier II stands out as one of the only firms of its scale, and their all-encompassing design-build approach sets them apart—clients have one point of contact from concept to completion. Passionate about sustainability and nature, Tzvi’s commitment to bringing trees into urban landscapes is part of his mission to transform the “concrete jungle.”
Outside of work, Tzvi is a dedicated father to Uma, husband, and outdoor enthusiast. Whether he’s hiking the Himalayas, growing his vegetable garden, or slow-cooking mushrooms over an open fire, his love for nature and the outdoors informs every part of his life. As an identical twin, he’s equally at ease in solitude with his family or among friends. And through it all, giving back to the community remains at the core of his values—always finding ways to support causes he believes in.
